Kara and Drew | Flint Hills Kansas City Wedding Photographers

We all know 2020 hasn’t been the easiest year to plan a wedding. But one silver lining that has come from this is that couples are having MICRO WEDDINGS. Very small, intimate weddings with their immediate families and closest families. Kara and Drew’s wedding stopped my heart so many times. This was my first micro wedding and it did not disappoint. We really got to know the couple and I feel as though we were actually part of the family that day. We drove to Emporia, KS and started at Gufler Mansion, the cutest Bed and Breakfast I have ever stepped in. After dinner, we headed off to the Flint Hills. The most scenic walk to the ceremony spot. As soon as Kara started saying her vows, the sun peaked out. It was truly breathtaking and a moment in my career I won’t ever forget. We did a sunset couple’s portrait session and ended back at the Gufler Mansion. This is a wedding close to my heart and I hope you enjoy.
